At Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, you are invited to be apart of our exciting mission work, service to community, support and service to the Church and some exciting, dynamic and fun constructive leisure activities for yourself

Examples of our youth in action are:
† Serving as acolytes † Serving on Altar Guild † Setting up and decorate church pavilion for fellowship potlucks † Recycling cans/bottles to help earth and our service to others (outreach) † Fundraising, corresponding with and providing prayer support for a missionary in Uganda, Africa; purchased goats for a Ugandan ministry † Sponsor a Compassion Child from India, Kiran † Sending coupons to Germany to help military families † Made 100 shoe boxes with goodies for Operation Christmas Child † Using the UH Read to Me Literacy Program, we read to the children at schools and special events. † Hike, cut and collect bamboo in a bamboo forest to make kadomatsu and delivering them to members who were unable to attend church. † Raised funds and participated in the Episcopal Asiamerican Ministry (EAM), Japanese Convocation † Participate in Mundoo fundraiser for St. Luke's † Attend the Palolo Hongwanji Obon Festival to learn and respect our Japanese culture † Help with our rummage sale † Visited the Waipahu Plantation and Japanese Cultural Center to learn about our own culture |
